Philosophy
The manner in which we interact with youth, families, the community, employees, referring agencies and corporate partners reflects the core values of Geneva Foundation.
We are responsible... to youth and their families. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to mature into a healthy adult realizing his/her full human potential. We encourage individual growth and family relationships that emphasize safe emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development.
We are responsible... to the community immediately surrounding our agency and the community resources we access on behalf of youth. We must be respectful citizens by supporting civic improvements, local charities, and schools, as well as maintaining the property we are privileged to use.
We are responsible... to our employees. We believe that everyone must be considered as an individual. We must respect their dignity and recognize their merit. We will work to foster an environment of safety, security and open communication. Compensation must be fair and adequate, and working conditions clean and orderly. We believe in a diverse workforce that is given equal opportunity for employment, development, and advancement to qualified individuals.
We are responsible... to referring agencies. In meeting their needs, everything we do must be of highest quality and maximum effectiveness.
We are responsible... to our corporate partners and donors. We must use our resources wisely and with integrity. We believe their involvement is vital to the function of the organization and will work diligently to maintain their support.
Our commitment to these values governs the result of our work.
